Another update

Biopsy is done. It was actually a piece of cake. The only hard part was lying still on my back for that long. The tumor is big enough that many sitting/lying/standing positions are uncomfortable because they exert pressure on organs or muscles. Today's lesson? Flat on my back with my arms held above my head for 30 minutes is extraordinarily painful. I never even felt any of the needly goodness.

Now for the waiting. I get to sweat it out until Monday. Yay.

Jeez! Is there a baby in there? Your description of how it's pressing on your organs and muscles reminds me of being pregnant. I couldn't sleep on my back for like 4 months or else I wouldn't be able to breathe. Only at the end, I got Oliver out of the deal. I don't think anything Oliver-caliber is in your belly, but I'm sure he's a decent enough feller to leave you alone and come out with his hands up.

I've seen it. It's about the size of a small baby. AWESOME!

hi, John. I met you at the Lucky Lab when we were all there for Brian M's birthday! I am keeping you in my thoughts! and it is not fun lying on your back with a baby, or baby-sized tumor, in your abdomen. that much I know. I will think good thoughts especially while you are waiting for results.
